Marijuana, cocaine seized after restaurant 'disturbance' - Canton, OH - CantonRep.com: "Bryan M. Burton, 27, of 1213 Rennick Ave. SE, was arrested at 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Waffle House, 2512 Cleveland Ave. SW, on charges of cocaine and marijuana possession, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, jail records said.

A 24-year-old woman who lives in the 5600 block of Faircrest Street SW was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business after she ignored police officers’ commands that she leave the business, the jail records said. The Repository does not typically name misdemeanor crime suspects"

Dennis men get 15 years for cocaine trafficking | CapeCodOnline.com: "guilty verdicts against Hector Jimenez-Simo, 25, and Anthony Reyes, 27, both of 109 Route 28, who were each charged after police found them with 436 grams of cocaine.
Investigators from the Dennis Police Department and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force, who had been tracking Reyes and Jimenez-Simo since November, arrested the two men Dec. 5 on Route 25 in Bourne as they returned from New York City with the drugs, according to the Cape and Islands District Attorney's office.
The cocaine, valued at more than $88,000, was stored in a television set in the rear passenger seat."

Alleged heroin user crashes car into wall and tree, arrested for 4th OWI - 1 Second#1 Second#1 Second: "Donald Wells Jr., 27, also was tentatively charged with inattentive driving and knowingly operating while suspended causing damage to property, following the crash at about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of South Whitney Way, Madison police reported.
'Officers said the suspect had a shoestring tied around his right arm and around the steering column in tourniquet fashion,' said police spokesman Joel DeSpain. 'He also had drug paraphernalia, including a syringe, in the center console of the car.'
Wells told police he dozed off and denied having just used heroin, although he admitted past use, DeSpain said.
'Based on the preponderance of evidence, he was arrested after being taken to a hospital,' DeSpain said."

When he testified on Monday, Mr Elghangha claimed he had no idea about the drugs hidden in his luggage. He said that before leaving Tunisia he had swapped his backpack for the luggage after a friend asked him to exchange.
However, lawyer Lara Lanfranco, from the Attorney General's Office, argued that Mr Elghangha was aware of the drugs, adding that he planned to make money out of them that had a market value of between €69,000 and €107,000"

Drug agency intercepts 3.2kg cocaine, apprehends seven suspects: "Onwuzurigbo Chibuike Gerald, 27, the agency added that it arrested six other drug peddlers that attempted to smuggle narcotics at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
According to the agency, Mr. Gerald was apprehended on his way from Brazil in an Emirate flight on April 4, and a total of 9.39kg narcotics were seized comprising 7.46kg of cocaine, 920g of heroin and 1.01kg of methamphetamine.
“Onwuzurigbo Chijioke Gerald who claimed to have travelled to Brazil to buy clothes confessed to the crime,” said Mitchell Ofoyeju, spokesperson for the agency. “He said that a man he met in Brazil asked him to bring a bag to Nigeria for a fee of N500,000.” Hamza Umar, MMIA"

Sarah Griffiths, 27, an ex-carer, took a mobile, eight sim cards, three wraps of cannabis and 57 tablets of Buprenorphine into Everthorpe Prison near Hull.Griffiths hid the mobile in her pants and posed as a visitor to a man she didn’t know, who was doing 33 months for robbery, Hull Crown Court heard.The drugs had a street value of £295 but inside prison were worth an estimated £885, said Ms Jobes.Ms Griffiths, of Eltham Crescent, pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of conveying a telephone to a prisoner on July 11 2009, one charge of supplying a Class C drug and one charge of possession with intent to supply a Class C drug.
