West New York cops: Two men arrested on cocaine and crack charges after two-week probe | - NJ.com: "Between April 23 and May 6, undercover officers bought cocaine and crack at least 10 times from Edwin Alvarenga, 32, of 66th Street and Hudson Avenue; and Inmar Mendoza-Diaz, also 32 and from the same address, reports said.
The department was granted a search warrant on Thursday and raided the men's home at around 5:30 p.m., reports said.
Police recovered 29 bags containing a rock-like substance believed to be crack and several other smaller bags containing a white powdery substance known to be cocaine, totaling a street value of about $2,500, reports said.
Mendoza-Diaz and Alvarenga were charged with multiple drug counts, including manufacturing, distributing or dispensing drugs, reports said.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also had detainers on both Alvarenga and Mendoza-Diaz, officials said."
