Meet Houston’s Top 10 Most Wanted Gang Fugitives, a new approach being unveiled by law enforcement here as part of a campaign to garner the public’s help.
These alleged gang members are on the run from charges of everything from murder and drug trafficking to punching a would-be bus rider in the face and snatching his cell phone.
According to a list posted on stophoustongangs.org, law-enforcement agencies, including Houston Police, the FBI DEA and other agencies are poised to put a s spot light on them.
The most wanted list includes members of street and prison gangs. As far as a race or ethnicity, eight of them appear to be Latino, and two black. They don’t appear to be listed in any specific order, as to who is most wanted.

The web site includes a good deal of information on each of them as well as multiple photos that not only show their faces, but some of their tattoos.
You may have heard of some of these fugitives before. Raul Madrigal, for instance, is said to be a member of Tango Blast and believed to have fled to Mexico.
A news conference, which appears to be tied to the Top 10 list and perhaps other new initiatives, is scheduled for this afternoon with several law-enforcement officials.
Among those scheduled to attend: HPD Chief Charles McClelland, Jr. ;Harris County Sheriff Adiran Garcia; District Attorney Patricia Lykos; DEA Special Agent in Charge Jaiver Pena; and the FBI’s agent in charge, Stephen L. Morris.
