BBC News - Liverpool man caught with heroin in Aberdeenshire: "Liam Bickerstaff, 23, from Liverpool, was caught by police in Aberdeenshire after being asked to move the heroin to woodland to reduce cannabis debts.
He admitted being concerned in drug supply last June when he appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh.
Lord Emslie deferred sentence for background reports and remanded first offender Bickerstaff in custody.
Speaking about the seizure in Banchory-Devenick, defence solicitor-advocate Iain Paterson said: 'It is not a case where he has come up from Liverpool with the drugs.'"
